Association Governance

Developed as a PUD, the community was officially recorded in the Santa Cruz County Recorders Office on March 27, 1973 in Book of Maps, page 8 as “Hidden Glen Tract 598”. The community is governed by the Hidden Glen Property Owners Association (HGPOA) and administered by the Association’s five member Board of Directors and a three member Architecture and Use Control Committee. Board members and Architecture Committee members are elected by the Association’s membership for 2-year terms. The Association is incorporated as a California non-profit corporation.

A recorded document titled “Declaration of Restrictions, Hidden Glen Tract” defines the covenants, conditions and restrictions that run with the land and are binding on all persons owning property in Hidden Glen. Other documents which further define the rights and obligations of members as well as the administration of the HGPOA include the Association’s By-Laws, the Rules and Regulations.
